What is a BALUN?

A balun is an electrical device that converts between a balanced signal (two signals working against each other where ground is irrelevant) and an unbalanced signal (a single signal working against ground or pseudo-ground)

Why use a Balun?
It is used as an alternative for coaxial cables in analog CCTV system installations. It uses UTP cables which is less expensive, easy to use and has a higher resistance to interference than coaxial cables.

Balun  PASSIVE VIDEO TRANSCEIVER with POWER CONNECTOR

iSecure UTP Power Injector for Coaxial is an electrical device that uses an Unshielded Twisted Pair cable (UTP) such as CAT5e, to transmit full motion camera video signal in color up to 300m/1000ft. It supports surge protection, electronic discharge protection, wave interference rejection and noise filter.
